The most awaited LAWCET exam for law aspirants is here. The Maharashtra CET Cell initially set the last date for the CET form as January 27, 2025, a month after the start date. Later, an extension was granted, and now the last date is February 28, 2025.

Admissions to the 3-year and 5-year law programs in Maharashtra are based on the LAWCET score. Before 2016, law college admissions were based on academic exam scores, and there was no standardized process for admission to the 3-year LLB program. In 2016, the Maharashtra CET Cell introduced LAW MHCET, standardizing the admission process.
