MAH-B.A/B.Sc-B.Ed 2024 CET Syllabus and Marking scheme

The Online exam consists of a single paper with three sections, as previously indicated, for MAH-B.A/B.Sc-B.Ed 2024 CET.

MAH-B.A./B.Sc.-B.Ed. Integrated CET Syllabus 2024

Contents of the Syllabus :-
1) General Knowledge (40 Marks):- i) Basic General Knowledge (a) Books and Authors (b)
Awards and Honours (c) Important National Days. (d) Persons in News (e) Important Current
Events. ii) Science and Technology: (a) General Science (up to SSC Level) (b) Various Inventions
(c) Technology. iii) History (up to SSC Level) iv) Geography (up to SSC Level) vi) Indian Civics
and Economics (up to SSC Level) vii) Indian Constitution with reference to Education.
2) Mental Ability (30 Marks):- This section aims to judge the reasoning power and accuracy in
Thinking. This section will cover the areas like: i) Reasoning Ability ii) Statements and Conclusions
iii) Letter and Number Series iv) Analogy vi) Odd Man Out vi) Numerical Ability vii) Logical
Problems viii) Coding- Decoding.
3) Teaching Aptitude (30 Marks):- Teaching aptitude will cover the areas like i) Attitude towards
Education, Students and Teaching Profession ii) Leadership Qualities iii) Emotional and Social
Adjustment iv) Intra-personal relations and Intra-personal skills. v)General awareness and Interest
in Teaching.

Educational Qualification

1. Science Stream/ DisciplineThe Candidate Should be an Indian National and should have passed HSC & Equivalent- with subjects including 1)Mathematics 2) Life Sciences like Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics with Minimum 50% Marks or Equivalent Grade etc subjects studied as Optional/Special Subject at HSC or equivalent level for Open/General Category Candidate OMS/ All India Candidates and EWS Candidates
2. Arts Stream/ DisciplineThe Candidate Should be an Indian National and should have passed HSC & Equivalent- with subjects including Social Science including (History /Geography / Economics / Political Sciences / Psychology /Philosophy / Education /Library) Humanity Sciences=Languages (including Indian, Modern and Classical Languages and Literature*) studied as First Language and or Optional/Core/Literature Subject at HSC or equivalent level with Candidates with Minimum 45% Marks in Senior Secondary/+2 Level (HSC) or its Equivalent for SC,ST, DT-VJ, NT1,N.T.-2, NT-3, OBC, SBC and SEBC category belonging to the State of Maharashtra Having Caste certificate, Caste Validity Certificate and Non Creamy Layer Certificate, if applicable.
