MPSC Tax Assistant exam 2016 syllabus
Maharashtra Public services commission has declared exam and schedule for Tax Assistant by notification dated 5th July 2016. There are about 450 vacancies in Sales Tax department of Maharashtra State Sales Tax department. The positions are in C group, Tax Assistant and 37 District level centres will conduct written exam Named “Tax Assistant Exam - 2016” on 28th Aug 2016.
Interest and qualified candidates have to fill online application for MPSC Tax Assistant Exam 2016 and application forms are available on https://mahampsc.mahaonline.gov.in
Application for Exam:
Application must be filled online only and no offline applications will be entertained in any circumstances.Eligible candidates must fill website based online application forms available on https://mahampsc.mahaonline.gov.in website from 5th July 2016 and ending on 25th July 2016.
Please note that you must fill name in application form as it appears on Secondary School Certificate i.e. in case of Maharashtra State Board please fill name same as it appears on SSC (Std. 10th) board certificate.
After filling application form online you can pay exam fees online or payment chalan in State Bank of India.
Once you have finished exam fees payment you will be able to select Exam Centre. You have to log in to MPSC Website and then you have to click “My account”. On you account page you will get list of all application forms filled, select Exam name i.e. “Tax Assistant Exam - 2016” and then you have to select Exam Centre available and then finally save the application.
Exam Pattern:
- Written exam of 400 marks
- There will be 200 questions
- The exam will be multiple choice objective type
- 2 marks for each question
- 2 Hour i.e. 120 minutes duration
- Negative mark for wrong answers (For every four wrong answers marks of one question will be deducted)
Syllabus:
For scoring well in written exam candidate must have good knowledge of MPSC exam syllabus. MPSC exam paper for Tax Assistant 2016 will be based on following subjects
