CTET 2021 Exam Dates, Eligibility, Pattern
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is an examination on the basis of which the eligibility of teaching candidates will be judged for employment in primary, upper primary and secondary schools under the Central Government. The next CTET exams are starting from 16 December 2021 and continue till 13 January 2021.

All questions in CTET test will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct. There will be no negative marking.
There will be two papers of CTET
- Paper I will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes I to V
- Paper II will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
Note: A person who intents to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).

Subjects for CTET Secondary Teachers (Class VI to VIII) Paper 2: Total marks 150

- Child development and pedagogy (30 marks)
- Mathematics and science (for Mathematics and Science teacher) (60 marks) (elective)
- Social studies (60 marks) (for Social Studies/Social Science teacher) (elective)

CTET 2021 Admit Card
The candidates are advised to check the CTET official website for their Admit Card to appear for the examination. If there are any discrepancies in the information on your e-admit card, kindly get in touch with CTET Unit immediately.
Kindly visit the official site and check if your CTET Dec 2021 hall ticket is available for download. E-admit cards will be available for download in the first week of December 2021.
Please keep your application ID and login details handy for downloading your CTET E-admit card.
The candidates shall report at the Examination Centre at 7:30 AM for Shift – I and 12.30PM
for Shift – II i.e. 120 minutes before the commencement of the examination. Candidate(s)
who report(s) at the examination centre after 9:30 AM in SHIFT-I and after 2:30 PM in SHIFTII shall not be allowed to appear in the examination.
