NTA - NET (National Eligibility Test)

On behalf of UGC, the National Testing Agency (NTA) established by Ministry of Human Resource Development, announces holding of the National Eligibility Test(NET) from Dec 09^th Dec, 2018 to 23^rd Dec, 2018 for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor Both in Indian universities and colleges. CBSE will conduct NET Exam in 84 subjects and list of subjects available at http://cbsenet.nic.in/

It is notified that NTA (National Testing Agency) will conduct the next UGC-NET for Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor from Dec 09^th Dec, 2018 to 23^rd Dec, 2018. As per the revised scheme, the test will consist of two papers as below:.

Educational Qualifications:

Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC
The Other Backward Classes(OBC) belonging to non-creamy layer/Scheduled Caste(SC)/Scheduled Tribe(ST)/ persons with disability(PwD) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test
Candidates who are pursuing their Master's degree or equivalent course or candidates who have appeared for their qualifying Master s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this test
