Cognizant is an American multinational information technology services and consulting company. Today, Cognizant is one of the top IT service providers in the world.

Cognizant was founded in the 1990s and went through a period of rapid growth during the 2000s. They became a Fortune 500 company in 2011 and are ranked 185 as of 2021.

As part of their recruitment process, Cognizant - more commonly known as CTS - conducts a placement test to help them determine whether or not the applicant has the skills and qualifications they're looking for in a candidate. CTS recruits people through off-campus recruitment programs for engineering freshers.

CTS placement papers are mostly conducted on a computer and have sections for English, Verbal Ability, and Quantitative Aptitude. Few times, Analytical Reasoning is also included in the CBT. If a candidate passes, they will be required to undergo a series of interviews at the testing center. This may include a technical interview and also an HR round.
