Salary / Pay Scale

Both categories (Group C & D) will be paid under the 7th Pay Commission, S-6 pay scale.

Salary Range: ₹19,900 – ₹63,200

Candidates who pass the written exam will appear for PET. Performance in PET contributes to final selection marks.

Final Selection & Verification
Combined marks: Written + PET

Final merit list is prepared using combined marks of the written exam and PET, followed by document verification. Merit list will be published on NMC’s website.

Essential qualifications & preferences
  • Must have passed Secondary School Certificate (SSC) (or equivalent).
  • Preference for candidates who have completed 6 months Fire Service training at the state fire-training centre (Mumbai).
  • Must hold a valid heavy vehicle driving licence and have a minimum 3 years driving experience.
  • Marathi language proficiency (read, write, speak) is required.
