The Maharashtra State CET Cell is set to conduct the MHT-CET 2024, a crucial examination for admissions into the first year of undergraduate courses in Engineering/Technology (B.E./B.Tech.) and Pharmacy (B.Pharm and Pharm D.).
In the previous MHT-CET examination held in 2023, a substantial number of candidates participated, with a more than 5 lakh candidates registering for the exams. Among these candidates, approximately 80 thousand plus individuals secured admissions into Engineering courses, while more than 29 thousand candidates successfully enrolled in Pharmacy courses. These statistics underscore the significance of MHT-CET as a key gateway for aspiring students seeking admission to premier engineering and pharmacy institutions in the state of Maharashtra.
The entrance examination held for the Pharmacy course in 2024 is referred to as MAH-MHT CET (PCB) -2024, while the entrance exams for Engineering or technical courses are denoted as MAH-MHT CET (PCM) -2024.

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION
The MHT-CET consists of three question papers. Each paper is of 100 marks.

Educational Qualification
- Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together; and Obtained score in MHT-CET 2024. Or
- Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only); Or
- Passed B.Sc. Degree from a Recognised University as defined by UGC. and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) and passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject;
