RERA Exam Eligibility, Syllabus, Pattern and Exam Preparation

Maha RERA exam is conducted for testing knowledge of candidates i.e. Agents. Candidates who pass RERA Exam and have completed mandatory training course can apply for RERA registration. Anyone who want to act as Agent and who helps people buy, sell and rent properties. The candidates who are pursuing career as real estate agent must clear RERA Exam. To pass this exam candidates must know about Eligibility, syllabus and other details and we will look into it in detail.

Eligibility:

Any agent , sales team member of real estate firm or promoter developer who deals with real estate properties can submit MahaRERA Exam Application. The candidate or agent must complete mandatory competency certification course and training about RERA and property Registration before applying for Exam. There are no specific qualification criteria other than certification course and training. There is no age limit or age restriction for RERA Agent Exam.

Start of on-line registration of application: 8 Nov 2024

End of On-line Registration of application: 7 Dec 2024

Syllabus:

• An introduction to the real estate market
• The Real Estate Regulation and Development Act, 2016
• The Registration Act, 1908
• Real Estate Laws (RERA)
• Real estate management which includes buying, selling, and renting
• The functions and duties of promoters i.e. Seller or Builder or promoter
• The rights and duties of allottees i.e. Buyers & tenants
• Offenses, penalties, and adjudication related to Real Estate
• Specimen agreement for property sale

RERA Exam Pattern:

The RERA Exam has 50 questions.

Each question is multiple choice question (MCQ) with 4 options to choose from.

Each question has 2 marks with total of 100 marks Exam.

No Negative Marking

Total Passing Marks are 40.

Exam Preparation:

Don’t be overconfident that you are active real estate agent and you know everything about RERA Laws and Real Estate development and regulation. You need to score minimum 40 marks out of 100 marks to clear this exam. You should understand syllabus on RERA Agent Exam in detail. Even if you are practicing Real Estate Agent you should understand that the questions in Rera Exam can be tricky. Question won’t be straight forward and much time they will be scenario based.
