SBI Clerk Selection Process

SBI Clerk selection process has three stages: first is the prelims, then the mains exam, and finally the local language test. The selection is based on candidates’ performance in the mains exam and their local language proficiency. Based on their performance in the prelims, candidates qualify for the mains exam. After qualifying for the mains exam, candidates have to clear the local language test. Along with this, candidates must successfully complete document verification and medical examination to get an appointment as a clerk in the State Bank of India.

The SBI Clerk mains exam is the second stage of the selection process. The mains exam is for 200 marks, and the time duration is 2 hours and 40 minutes. The SBI Clerk mains exam has four sections:

Section 1 – General or Financial Awareness
Section 2 – General English
Section 3 – Quantitative Aptitude
Section 4 – Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude.
